I stood there watching this surfer paddle out.

Wave after wave-massive ones, crashing over the rocks like a sledgehammer.
He kept going. Determined. Maybe a little crazy.
 

Then it happened.
 

A monster wave just... crushed him. Sent him tumbling. Board went flying.
I winced just watching it.
 

He was fine (thank God), but I thought to myself: Yeah, no thanks.
Not today (lol!).
 

Here's the thing though-

I was there. At the beach. On a Wednesday afternoon. Barefoot in the sand,
later watching the sunset, clear surf rolling in. Just... peaceful. Time to breathe.
Time to think.

And you know what made that possible?
 

A decision I made a few years ago to work online. For myself. On my own terms.

That's one of the reasons I love working online - for myself. Because I can share
awesome stories like this with you and still earn too.
