The lighthouse at night

Published: Sun, 01/15/23

Hi! This is Albie, sailor, adventurer, writer and online marketer.

One night I was out at sea on a very dark night bobbing over the
waves with little gusts of wind and with my engine throbbing away
as I made my way through the ocean back home.

Eventually I came to a big LIGHTHOUSE that was shining
behind me while I sailed past it! I could hear its loud
whistle over the water and see the light flash every
seven seconds or so.

The wind was light this evening (maybe only 5-8kts).
I used the engine a lot (as the wind began to die) to sail
past that beacon of hope. Literally, on a dark night this
is the only thing you can see that tells you you've come
to the right place!
