Journey to the stars...

Ever had a hiking adventure? Well, one day my nephew and I went for long hike to climb Mt Wilson. After spending the first night camping near the river, the second night was completely different. We were near the mountaintop and were camping with cliffs not too far off.
A million mosquitos were trying to get us here, so putting up the tent was like a challenge to see how fast a human being could put up a tent so that not one mosquito could get in (lol)! Well, whatever we did, It worked.
We had a good sleep, looking out at the stars through the netted top of the tent. It was beautiful!
Early the next morning around 5am, we got up to see if we could spot any deer and would you believe it, we were just in time!
A whole pack of them were busy eating grass in a meadow not too far away!
That was fun but on the way back to the tent (so we could get some more rest), a mountain lion suddenly appeared on the trail not too far from us. We both froze and pretended to be statues, but it was hard with a mosquito trying to get on my nose! I couldn't stand it and moved and the mountain lion suddenly saw us and took off! "Well, that was good" we both laughed and found our tent and went back to sleep!
What an adventure! Ever done something like that? Well, whether you have or not doesn't matter. But what does matter is that you're moving forward toward your dreams!
