Electric love...

Yep, that sounds amazing but I'm not talking about super powers here! I'm speaking of something you feel in your heart and soul.



Well, whether or not you have felt this, I want to share an experience with you.

Many years ago, my daughter asked me how I knew what God was like. 

And I told her that the Spirit of God is like all the attributes of pure love.

Let me sum these up for you. These are also found in I Corinthians 13 and Galatians 5: “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. In fact, these are just a few attributes of God. 

I think she understood what I was talking about but now that I look back, I don’t know if she understood the intensity of what I was saying. 

You can think about any of these attributes and they are all good things. But if you were to dwell on each of these attributes and write a five page essay on just kindness, for example, and then write five pages on each of these attributes, this would be one more step closer to what I’m talking about.

And if you could take all your feelings that you felt after reading each of these essays and put these feelings into a drug and give yourself a dose of it, then that’s kind of a weak example of what it feels like when God touches your life.

For me it was kind of like my whole insides were on fire with a passion I cannot explain... (but I’ll try!).

I felt loved to the end degree. I felt cared for and cherished like I had never felt before. The love I felt in my heart was so amazing that it felt like electricity pulsating through my body and wanting to explode from my fingertips. 

This is what Gods love does to you when you feel its full strength. Most of the time you don’t feel the intensity of Gods love like this. You may live your life and only remember how it felt or go for years without feeling it again (or have never felt it before).

I’m not going to say that it’s like anything a drug can actually do for you because actually feeling Gods love changes your life.

Drugs will only give you a feeling and leave you empty. But God‘s love changes you from the inside out.  And it’s not based on a feeling. it’s based on real practical elements such as unconditional love that will lay down it’s life for you when things go wrong. 

It’s love that bends over backwards to help you and sacrifices for you even when it doesn’t want to. These are the real practical elements of the love I’m speaking about . 

But when you do experience the real emotion of the whole thing, it’s quite breathtaking and life-changing at the same time. If you’ve never felt God‘s love before, then the way to begin experiencing it, begins by realizing that God loves you, that we all have done bad things, but that God forgives us and accepting Gods love into your heart.

He sent his only son to take the punishment of what we deserve. Sometimes we don’t want to confess to being really “bad” but we all know when we have done things to hurt others and we all know we walked down a dark path - whether it was for five minuets or our whole lives. 

When you realize that God forgives us and took the punishment on himself, then it melts your heart. 

And now instead of God giving us the punishment that we deserve, he gives us life instead - in abundance. 

So all you need to do is tell God thank you and to tell him from your heart that you’re sorry and that you want him in your life. 

And this will begin the journey for you understanding God.

I can’t tell you when you will feel the depth of his love in your heart, as feelings are really something hard to control.

But just like you begin to fall in love with someone, slowly your feelings begin to change and you begin to feel real emotion concerning them. 

And this is how God‘s love, slowly starts to change you. Eventually you realize how deep God‘s love is for you and one day you might accidentally fall into the ocean of his love and realize that it's endless.

When you’re marketing online, you always give so that you receive something back. Usually when I give a gift, it allows you to see a little bit of what we do and realize that you want more and become a paying member on our team. 

And this is the way that life normally works. If you want someone to teach you how to make money, you have to give them something in return.  And this is the reality of life. 

But in this case, I hope that you are able to find something in the words I have shared with you and I honestly don’t care if you give me anything back.
