Foreboding feelings….

Mountains in Mist, Catalina Isle

It’s always a little scary to be far away from land in a boat out on the dark ocean. I mean, I really trust my boat and I have been out in 35 storms and feel very safe in it. But the sea being what it is, always leaves you with feelings of foreboding.

I’m not sure if the adrenaline rush of being out somewhere a little dangerous is something that I crave but definitely the adventure of it all is.

I love going places I’ve never gone and seeing new experiences in my life. Maybe you can relate to this also?

I turned on my green compass light to see exactly where I was heading and saw that I still needed to go about three more hours around the back end of the island in order to get to Catalina Harbor on the other side.

The thrill of seeing the mountainous other end of the island, silhouetted at night, was awesome. Coming around the cape to see see all the bright fishing lights was also amazing. I had no idea that this remote place was such an important destination for fishermen.

Finally after a few more hours at sea, I saw the giant cliff opening of "Cat" Harbor and I was able to pull in and find a place to drop my anchor in about 25 feet of clear water. In the morning I would jump in my kayak and go ashore and do some exploring. But for now I was just glad to jump in the v-birth and fall asleep under the covers!

I’m not sure if you’ve ever done anything like this but if you’re an adventurer like me I’m guessing you have.

I know there’s usually always some danger to overcome, even if it is not life-threatening. And there’s always a challenge to it, because that’s the nature of it.

This kind of reminds me of working online too because those who are not ready to take on a challenge will most likely fail.

I don’t say this to discourage anyone but to simply acknowledge that in order to achieve anything of worthwhile value, there’s definitely skills to be learned and challenges to be overcome. And if you want massive success, then there’s the challenge of massive failures to overcome.

I know many of you have heard all the stories about how easy success is but this is just someone trying to sell you something and not really REALTY.

So if you have dreams and aspirations to accomplish some amazing things and be able to go places you’ve never been able to go because of that job that keeps holding you back, then I would love to hear from you!

Just simply respond back to this email with the subject line: “Share with me more” and I definitely will get back with you right away.

Talk to you soon!
