Christmas fun...

Hi this is Albie! Giant walls of snow met me outside. It was so much fun for the first 10 minutes, throwing snowballs, wading through snow and building snowmen. But all of a sudden my feet and hands were freezing and all that mattered was getting back inside the warm house so I could save my fingers from falling off!

Snow would often fall down the cracks of my high black boots as I tried to walk through feet of snow! I used to live in New Jersey for ten years and we lived in near a horse farm in the countryside. I vividly remember two or three feet of snow we would get in the winter time. Maybe you do too?

Little snowflakes would being falling on my head as I headed through the frosty air toward the forest. There below the trees, the snow was not so high and I could take my "secret route" down to the freezing river below.

When I finally got down to the stream, I would wade up the ice cold stream as I passed by branches laden down with feet of white snow. Sometimes I would brush up against one of these branches and a white shower of snow would poor down over my head and down the cracks of my heavy blue coat!

I used to love these escapades into nature, as I looked for interesting things in the forest or up the river bed. I remember one day, I came across a hundred year old wagon wheel from the 1800's. My brother and I heartily dug it out of the stream bed and mud and proudly brought it back to our house, where it stood on the front porch for years afterwards. :)

This reminds me of times we would tuck our ancient ski's under our arms and with our huge heavy ski boots on, try to move over snow and ice to a little hill behind our house where we would momentarily "ski" for about ten full seconds before we come to the bottom (where if we didn't stop, we would ski right into the stream).

Remind you of a "Snowy Christmas Past"? I hope so!

Those were fun times and I honestly miss sitting near the hot fire watching thick and heavy snowflakes falling everywhere outside our warm home.

Now that I live in California however, that's a thing of the past as I never see snow much anymore (even rain is pretty rare lol!). Actually the only time I see snow anymore is if I purposefully head out of Los Angeles and up to the mountains during the wintertime. Maybe you can relate (or maybe not haha).

Anyway, I have to say I greatly enjoy the Christmas lights that come up as we lose more and more daylight due to the winter solstice approaching. In fact it gets dark so fast now, that I wonder if Christmas lights were created especially to ward off the depression of cold and darkness that seems to take over much of the world!

Maybe giving gifts was a way to do this too? I know what the "real reason for Christmas is" and how God gave the first gift to us (God sending his only son into the world to take the punishment of our sins and free us from inner darkness). And its life-changing to just reach out to God and receive this free gift of his love. At least it was and is for me.

Still I know that common factors (like the dwindling daylight) have a lot to do with the reasons we do things to make Christmas more special. And these are fun and make life interesting. I love the emphasis on family too. There's nothing quite like having your family around you to enjoy talking and laughing during these dark and cold days. Well, that's all my thoughts about Christmas this year.

But I wanted to give you a gift too before I go. This is another "traffic getting" gift. This will be my third gift to you concerning traffic.

My idea is NOT to "oversaturate" you with advertising gifts. Rather, it is just another recourse to help you when you're ready for it. This gift is the one I would give anyone who wanted to create the most leverage in their advertising for the least amount of money.

I know some of you may already have this (I'm not telling what it is yet, haha). But whether you have it or not I made a special training to help you get the MOST out of it! And if this wasn't enough, I'm giving you personal coaching help specifically for this advertising recourse to all those who join under my link. That's a gift of $100. All you need to do is email or contact me to take advantage of this.

So Merry Christmas to you!
